Something for Everyone in Black Point, Bahamas
Black Point Yacht Club Restaurant & Cottages is situated in the small Bahamian village of Black Point on Great Guana Cay in the Exuma Cays. We currently offer waterside cottages vacation rentals, a restaurant with a dock that handles boats up to 42 feet in length with a maximum draft of 10 feet. Black Point consists of small cottages, three churches, two grocery stores, a post office, three local restaurants, and an airstrip.
The waters of Great Guana Cay are famous for their stunning crystal blue water. A popular place for bonefishing and deep-sea fishing. The reefs are easy to explore by snorkeling and scuba diving. The white sand beaches are breathtaking and perfect for a day of beach combing and swimming.
Attractions in the Black Point area include the caves on the southern end of Great Guana Island and the Garden of Eden, a collection of driftwood and shells arranged into a beautiful garden by a local. Thunderball Grotto is also in nearby Staniel Cay, a famous snorkeling site famous for numerous movies, including the James Bond films Thunderball and Never Say Never Again and the Tom Hanks film Splash.
